AirIQ teams with KORE Canada for North American services

Wireless service provider AirIQ has entered into an agreement with KORE Wireless Canada for wireless M2M connectivity will see AirIQ offer GSM, GPRS and CDMA M2M applications throughout North America and Europe.

“We are excited at the opportunity to help AirIQ extend the productivity and value of its customers’ assets,” said Robert Metzler, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, KORE.

Oberthur signs management deal

Mobile digital security vendor Oberthur Technologies announced that Device Cloud Networks (DCN) has selected its M-Connect solution to remotely manage OEM and enterprise M2M device subscriptions across DCN’s mobile network operator alliance.

OT’s M-Connect solution is designed to securely manage M2M units over the entire device lifecycle. DCN will integrate M-Connect into its M2M service offering for Original Equipment Manufacturers such as car makers or smart meter manufacturers.

“We are really pleased to support DCN in their effort to provide a turnkey solution to connect smart devices to mobile networks that will streamline the worldwide manufacturing and distribution process of OEMs while helping mobile operators better answer their specific connectivity requirements, accelerate time-to-market and get a wider coverage footprint in the M2M ecosystem.” said Marek Juda, Managing Director of the Solutions Business Unit at Oberthur Technologies.
